positions in the industry:
His activities in Thomson and COM21 included the co-ordination of the European Projects activity of the company (IST, Eureka, MEDEA, ITEA).
His expertise is on broadband protocols and digital video systems over cable, wireless and fiber optic access networks. He has presented papers in conferences like Montreux, IBC, IEE, SMPTE, IEEE, and is regularly called for participation to panels on broadband access. | |
He has chaired a number of committee in DVB and DAVIC, and in collaboration
with CableLabs, ECCA and ETSI, on return channels protocols for cable,
wireless and terrestrial media, and Voice over IP protocols.
