BREAD deliverable D2.1 - 3.1
This report is the first deliverable of the FP6-project "Broadband in Europe for all: a multi-disciplinary approach project (BREAD). It is a combined deliverable on the multi-technological and multi-disciplinary analysis of the "broadband" for all concept with focus on the "state of the art" and "what's happening now". The major objective of this deliverable is to identify and outline the most important areas in relation to the multi-technological and multi-disciplinary analysis of the "broadband for all" concept to be carried out as part of the project.
Bread deliverable D2.2 - 3.2
This report is the second deliverable of the FP6-project “Broadband in Europe for all: a multi-disciplinary approach project (BREAD)”. It is a multi-technological analysis of the ‘broadband for all’ concept, with an update of the listing of multitechnological key issues, a first gap analysis and first roadmaps on how to tackle these issues. The deliverable also contains information on ongoing regional and national broadband initiatives in Europe (EU25) and around the world. The information includes an analysis of the broadband market in these countries with overview of available technologies, infrastructures, operators, pricing,…. It also includes a summary of the broadband policy in these countries. This document builds further on the overview of the state-of-the-art on broadband issues, summarized in the first BREAD deliverable.
