- Netlab has received the CELTIC labelisation
The Netlab project who's objective is to set up an interconncected testbed in Europe, based on IMS has recently sucessfully passed the CELTIC evalutation. The project set-up was supported by JCP-Consult.
- CHORUS Workshop on National Initiatives
The CHORUS Workshop on National Initiatives on Multimedia Content Description and Retrieval was held in Geneva on 10th October 2007, bringing together national initiatives from Europe in the area of audio-visual content processing, indexing and searching for the next generation Internet using semantic technologies.
- On February 21st, 2007 JCP-Consult moved to its new premises
JCP-C has changed location!. From now on the company can be found in its new offices in the centre of Cesson-Sévigné. See the Itinerary page for a map of the new location.
- The CHORUS Workshop
The workshop entitled "Use-Cases and New Services for Multimedia Content Search" was held in parallel to the D2 concertation meeting event that took place on March 14th 2007 at the Rocquencourt INRIA premises.

CHORUS is a European Coordination Action which aims at creating the conditions of mutual information and cross fertilisation between the European projects dealing with Multimedia Content Search Engines. National and international initiatives are also included in Chorus action.

- JCP-Consult, Partner in BREAD
The BREAD (Broadband in Europe for All: a multi-Disciplinary approach) co-ordination action aims at developing a multi-disciplinary approach for the realisation of the 'broadband for all' concept within Europe. This EU objective will not be reached by a solely 'technology push' strategy but will need a multi-disciplinary approach (societal, economic, regulatory and technological issues).
- First BREAD deliverable available
This report is the first deliverable of the FP6-project "Broadband in Europe for all: a multi-disciplinary approach project (BREAD)". It is a combined deliverable on the multi-technological and multi-disciplinary analysis of the "broadband for all" concept with focus on the "state of the art" and "what's happening now". The report can be viewed here.
