Mobile Game Arch is a support action within the European Commission’s Seventh Framework Programme. It focuses on identifying the barriers to growth in the European mobile games industry as well as making recommendations to improve the competitiveness of this sector of the European economy.

I-SEARCH is a support action within the European Commission’s Seventh Framework Programme. The project aims to provide a novel unified framework for multimodal content indexing, sharing, search and retrieval. The I-SEARCH framework will be able to handle specific types of multimedia and multimodal content (text, 2D image, sketch, video, 3D objects and audio) alongside with real world information, which can be used as queries and retrieve any available relevant content of any of the aforementioned types

Social Sensor is a support action within the European Commission’s Seventh Framework Programme.SocialSensor will develop a new framework for enabling real-time multimedia indexing and search in the Social Web. The project will move beyond conventional text-based indexing and retrieval models by mining and aggregating user inputs and content over multiple social networking sites.

OASE is a support action within the European Commission’s Seventh Framework Programme. The OASE Integrated Project will examine Fibre-to-the-Home (FTTH) within a multi-disciplinary study to provide a self-consistent and coherent set of technological solutions. The OASE project federates partners from all over Europe and is composed of major operators, industrial leaders in FTTH technologies, and European universities.

ACCORDANCE is a support action within the European Commission’s Seventh Framework Programme. ACCORDANCE introduces a novel high-capacity extended-reach optical access network architecture, based on OFDMA technology, implemented through the proper mix of state-of-the-art photonics and electronics. Such an architecture is not only intended to offer improved performance compared to evolving TDMA-PON (Time Division Multiple Access - Passive Optical Networks) solutions.

CHORUS+ is a support action within the European Commission’s Seventh Framework Programme. CHORUS+ is a Coordination Action which aims at creating the conditions of mutual information and cross fertilization between the FP7 projects and the recently launched National Initiatives all over Europe together with initiatives external to Europe. A particular emphasis on setting concrete R&D and industrial objectives for multimedia search in Europe is planned.
